There are plenty of work from home Jobs and Opportunities out there. The hardest task in your search will be finding the right one for you.
Now this may not seem as difficult as you think but the first thing you want to do when coming online to find work is put away your pocket book. That’s right you don’t need to spend $500 – $1000+ on some magic system to work from home.
What I looked for in a work at home job or opportunity is this
It needed to be
- Fun
- Social
- Easy to learn
The reason I looked for these exact things is because if I am not having fun I get bored. If I am not being social it feels to much like work. Finally if it is not easy to learn I will just get distracted.
I like many others have spent a great deal of time looking for a way to work from home and I got sucked in by the gurus and magic buttons more than once along the way.
Work From Home “Jobs”
If you are looking for an online job that pays an hourly rate your in for a daunting task. I have looked and have not found many that I would be interested in.
Real, payed hourly or otherwise work at home jobs are highly competitive and are going to require more than just the applicable skills for the position.
Skills can included but are not limited to:
- Web Design and Programming
- Writing and Typing
- Photography and Graphic Design
- Advertising and Marketing
Traits an Employer might look for:
- Self Starter
- Solid Work Ethic
- Not Easily Distracted
- Punctual
- Constant
Any employer is taking a huge risk hiring someone to work from home. That being said of course they are going to seek out the person with the best reputation, qualities and Skills. In a lot of cases work from home jobs can be more competitive then on location jobs.
If you lack the necessary experience and traits in the field you are interested in, it is going to be very difficult to find an a business willing to hire you. Don’t let this discourage you but take it more as a word on what to expect.
Work From Home “Opportunities”
Hold the phone! What is the difference between a job and an opportunity?
Glad you asked. The difference is this, a Job is a specific task or tasks done as part of the routine of one’s occupation for an agreed price. An Opportunity is a good position, chance, or prospect, for advancement or success.
Types of work from home opportunities
- Home Based Business
- Network Marketing
- Internet Marketing
- Consulting
Benefits of a work from home opportunity
- You are the boss
- Set your hours around your schedule
- Not having to work a certain number of hours
- Work from home in your underwear
- No Bridges or highways or sitting in your car biting the steering wheel for 2 hours a day
With anything including a work from home opportunity your are going to want to do your research.
After a lot of research and trial and error a work from home opportunity is what I chose. Network Marketing in fact because it fit the best for me and what I was looking for. I am not interested in another job.
I am however interested in taking a risk on myself and testing my abilities because at the end of the day I know The Juice is Worth The Squeeze
